Why not choose your own country's language?

I think mandarin is more difficult to learn. Why not Malay?

I understand, but I mean more like a language that is more easily understood by the majority of the world's population who are the official international language. I think Mandarin is more difficult to learn by people other than China.

Is Latin easier to learn than English or Mandarin?

Why not just choose Indonesian? Isn't it easier for foreigners to learn it? Easy to pronounce and easy to pronounce, much less absorb English too.

@Babale ehmm there is not much reference that saying Indonesia is easier language to learn for everyone in this world. (if you have, you can show it to us). well, for me Indonesian, it's difficult to talk Indonesian in right phrase, right grammar and right word and i think most Indonesians haven't talked Indonesian language grammatically right.
