Experience With Refurbished Products?

I have never tried buying any Refurbished products like Smartphone laptop etc but I have seen most of the e-commerce websites selling these and this shows there is a demand for these products. There are things we cannot imagine buying it like the scratches on the product and possibly dents, signs of wear and tear etc.
Have you ever purchased any Refurbished Electronics product online? How was the experience?

Factory refurbished products don't have scratches or dents. They're as good as new. Yes, I've bought one of my tablets that was refurbished by the manufacturer and I had no problem with it whatsoever. It's been about 4 or 5 years now and still works pretty decently. I had my own doubts too when I bought it as that was my first time getting a refurbished one, but looks like I got a good deal and made it safe.

4 to 5 years how? My brand new products work for 2 to 3 years max

you have to trust me on this! Lol it's Samsung tablet and has held up pretty good. However it's not like it was extensively used all these years. We had other tablets as well so it was like an on and off thing.

Still not tried but my friend using and its very good as get at very cheap rates. He bought fridge at 50% where one screth on left side. He using cover on it so no one will get know. Whatever if someone get to know, main thing is inside and they also give warrenty.

@Butterfingers They are telling themselves and that is why price down if they not say then customer will also doubt why selling at such a low price. He also bought AC like this and outdoor of AC was also little damaged which one recover some but not completely.

How to know if there are scratches in advance? From where he purchased?
