Have you ever been a victim of crime?

When I was in college, I was a victim of crime. me and some of my friends rent a house for a year. every time we leave the house, we keep our keys near the door and hidden. only we know. but one morning when I woke up in the morning, I didn't find my cellphone, nor did my other friends' cellphones. What happened? Yes, we were shock because I found the exit from the side open. most likely the thief knew where we kept the key then he opened the kitchen door and unfortunately before going to sleep we didn't check all the doors if they were locked or not. I became aware that crimes occur not only because of the intention of the perpetrators but because there is an opportunity. therefore we must always be vigilant.
