I have a feeling we won't be seeing too many of them because either the theatres won't be open in time and/or how many people will want to go to a theatre mingling with 1,500-2,000 people and if they can't have 100% seats for sale they will lose a lot of money! Keeping my fingers crossed!

@DianneN I'll be surprised if NYC & Broadway will ever be the same again!

@GreatMartin You'll cut off your blood supply keeping your fingers crossed that long. I don't see it happening for a long, long, time.

A sign that they are for you to watch and enjoy! A good way to stay cool from all the outside heat.

I will really be surprised if it happens--one show I really wanted to see has been cancelled already--the stage version of "To Kill A Mockingbird"!

@CarolDM 1) It cost too much money to pay them until they could get back to work 2) it was the first show of the new season and the theatres definitely won't be open yet they can hold one of the political debates in the Miami theatre!!! ARGH!!

Social distance prevents that--actors on stage would have to keep 6 feet apart--that would be a headache directing--doing it via zoom takes away from the performance--the theatre will be a whole new world!

I am keeping my fingers crossed they will open by January 2021 but not if cases keep rising as they are now!

They were suppose to open the movies here July 15 but it has changed---theatre is a different situation because they can't afford to play to a 50% audience so people won't be seated next to each other.
