Title: Life With a Drama Queen Episode 7: Three Hours Preparation Names and others will not be mentioned for privacy. Me, my roommate and C are sitting at the pantry table one morning. Chit chatting, breakfast together and doing some research methodology courses together. All of the sudden.. *Pettt, pettt!* C looks who is honking the car from the pantry balcony. C: Ooo wow! It's Q's boyfriend. Me: Boyfriend?? R: Really?? With her attitude? Got a boyfriend?? Then Q comes out from the room, grumpy. She goes to the pantry balcony. Q: Just wait. Who ask you to come for a surprise?? Then Q goes back to the room, and then goes to the bathroom. C: Hmmmm.... So ungrateful. You should be happy if your boyfriend comes to see you for a surprise visit. M: *Nod* About an hour, Q comes out of the bathroom. C: Oi, so long. Your boyfriend is waiting. Q: So what? He supposed to tell me first. Not just come like that. I will take time to groom myself before going to date. R: It's an hour already..... You shouldn't let him wait there. Q: So what? He can just sit in the car. Not waiting under the sun. Who ask him to come without notifying me. M: *Shaking head* R excuse herself to go cafe to buy some food, drinks and convenient store to buy something. Meanwhile, me and C going for a nap. After about an hour nap, me, my roommate and C gather back at the pantry table for lunch. R: *Loud* Let's eat! C: *Put her finger at her lips* Shhh..... Q is still here. M: R: *Low voice* From we finished breakfast, doing assignments, buy for lunch, nap.... She still not done yet? C: *Shakes her head* M: Wow. That's about three to four hours to prepare. Did her boyfriend still here? C: Yah. M: Very unrespectful. We are starting our lunch, when Q is finally done with her grooming. Q: Eww, your food is too strong. Put that away. It will stick to my clothes. M: Go out fast if you don't want the smell sticks. You soon eat, still the food smell sticks to your clothes. Hearing me throwing her another sharp, simple answer, Q grumpily goes out, banging the main door. C: Hmph! Stupid lady. She asks us to not bang the door, she's the one who bang the door. R: *Sighing* Very unrespectful lady. She shouldn't make her boyfriend wait for too long. M: *Nod* When we continue eating, we could hear Q scold her boyfriend for coming surprisingly at the house dormitory. We three peep from the pantry balcony. Poor her boyfriend, he just put his head down. C: Let's make a bet. Their relationship will not last long. We three are laughing. M: No need. They won't last long with her attitude. R: I agree. C: Me too. At least we able to eat peacefully that.. afternoon. The end! The next Episode will be continued next time.Thank you! Stay safe, take care. Adie, July 2020

@gr8nana6 I think that applies to everyone too. It's understandable if we have to wait due to the surprise visit, but taking more than an hour to prepare could make one lose interest in making the same surprised visit in the future if one didn't appreciate that. We pity her boyfriend, have a surprise visit but have to wait for 3 hours and finally got scolded for surprise visit. Stupid, isn't it?

Wow, if I were Q's boyfriend, I would have left after twenty minutes of waiting.

@Adie04 Yes I agree with you. If it's a surprise, the boyfriend should expect to wait for a little bit, but no more than a half hour.

I know right Very unrespectful towards time. Of course we would be surprised to have a surprise visit, unprepared. But just shower and simple make up for less than half hour is still fine.

I guess we just most of the time ignore and not staying at dormitory at day time. If we come back at night, we can go bath and sleep, where she already sleep. Just once in a while we stay at dorm at day, because going out every daylight and come back at night is tiring too. Guess we can be monk already, too many patience with someone like her
