Most of Time when we dispute me and my husband because of our different way of thinking of how to raise the children. Does it happen to you also and how do you solve things?

@life85 I wouldnt want to have children because I feel like I would be too strict like my mother but she was so strict on occasion it was bad for my mental health... I dont want to do that

@Fa_Maverick don't let this prevent you from having children, just try not to be too strict and alwyas there should be discussion with children even if they are young

i think better for a husband and wife talk first and decide the house rule. sharing and accepted what should and shouldnt do when raising their kids.

@life85 then when wife/husband didnt agree on something, just talk privately (not in front of their kids) and find the best solution

It's important to have the same values before having kids, but men and women have different ideas. I was more loving and my husband was more strict. They are grown up now and turned out just fine.

Yes it happens to me too. We just sleep it out and be fine the next day. We do think about each other's opinion and who was right or wrong.

Raising children was always a matter of contention between me and my wife. Mostly we would discuss things (out of earshot of the kids) so that we could present a united front when we disciplined or made decisions that affected them or the kids' desires. When we were still very young, we would often argue about the kids, but as we aged and as the kids aged, we mellowed out and things were a lot calmer. Ours are grown and have families of their own now. They turned out pretty good.
