I would never want to own a home. the cost to buy one is the first issue, the second is the upkeep. I prefer to rent. I rather let the landlord worry about the lawn, the painting and plumbing. I spent to many wasted summers mowing to many lawns, weeding to many gardens and painting to many fences that I can never to do it again. Plus morgages, insurances, taxes, whats the point!!

Good points!Plus another question I have is that if you have paid the bank loan off completely and you "OWN" your home, how come you are paying repeating taxes on something you already own? After you include all the taxes and interest you have paid over the years added to the utilities and upkeep, there are times when you do not get as much from the sale of the house compared to renting 5throughout the same time.
