I want to talk about one of my students. her name is A. she very polite with the teacher. but sometimes on social media she tries to get along with me and I understand it. I also sometimes use language that is easy for her to understand. here are some of the contents of the conversation:
A: excuse me sir, I want to collect the assignment this morning, is it still possible?
me: yes, still allowed.
A: Do you live with your parents now, sir?
me: no, my parents in the village :)
A: When was the last time you called your parents?
me: 2 days ago.
me: you still live together right? use the time to have a family as well as possible yes. while still close.
A: Yes, thank you sir. I hope your parents are healthy there.
me: thank you, I pray that your parents will be healthy and wish you lots of good fortune
A: Aamiin, thankyou sir.
I really like polite students like her, and I consider her as a family in school. Do you have students or teachers who are comfortable talking to?

I respected my teachers. Conversation with them over social media which was not there at that time or even over phone was never done. In Personal meetings in school or college areas, the conversation if any was limited to studies never personal matters.

For the elementary students we do. But for the high school we avoid talking to them in social media. It's a taboo.

Fine. As long as the kids keep their focus of studies they would do well.
