Bringing The World Into Focus

Trapped inside myself,
I grab hold of the Lord's reings
and let my heart be guided.
When the rain cries against
my window pane, my thoughts
Bleed unto paper.
Bringing the world into focus,
shadows immerse me in darkness
to shade in lost memory.
A child plays school with her dolls
Becoming her students.
Reciting life's daily lesson about
Taking a walk on the sun.
