Well! I'm awake now!

Good ... Day. I woke up this morning and around 10 AM I just started feeling tired. More of a body tired than a mental tired. I finally laid myself down around 12:30 and I don't believe I slept, but next thing I know it's around 2 pm. I just told my google home to play relaxing music and listened to it. Anyway, I am feeling much more awake now. Maybe I'll get some more stitches done on the afghan I am working on. I queued up another book for me to read on my kindle as I finished re reading The Other Side of Midnight. I don't really feel like reading The Broken Girls as I feel like that took a long time for it to get good the first time I read it. I've also just finished loading up my hobby lobby cart and am just waiting for the yarn sale.

I had a very lazy morning right until now (1:30). Time to make something of the rest of the day.

@paigea That's great! I hope it wasn't too hot. It's been too hot for a long walk here, but I really do need to start walking the neighborhood again in the fall. I used to enjoy it.

Got up early due to the cats being my alarm clock.

Got to love that. No pets of my own, but when I'm at a friend's house the dogs are my alarm clocks. Her cats are usually right along with me in wanting to sleep in a little longer. Since I petsit, the dogs know me as another human that feeds and takes them out...

@CarolDM Do they have a self feeder or do you put the food out each time? Her cats have the self feeder, but the dogs I have to feed.

Time had a way of slipping away. Is Hobby Lobby your favorite craft store?

It's becoming so. I mean, I love going into the physical store and looking around. I've been in a lot of craft stores over the years and Hobby Lobby is in a league of it's own I think.

It does seem like you were tired. I feel like that right now but will probably wait until after lunch to take a nap. I hope hobby lobby has the sale on your yarn soon. I love hobby lobby!

The sale in on right now. I checked just awhile ago and saw that it was on, so I went through my cart and edited some things, then decided to just shop again. I activated rakuten so I'll get somewhere around 38 cents back for the $19 purchase I made. I wish they calculated the tax and shipping in with what they give me back, but they don't.

@simone10 They used to have etsy on there and I loved that because I love shopping from etsy. I wish they had walmart on there, but they don't. Mostly I just use ebay, and now hobby lobby. I shopped at Michaels' too, but this last time I was not credited for it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I tried to use rakuten once but I don't shop at the stores they have so it really wasn't worth it for me. I'm glad you are able to use it.

The afghan I am doing now is just single crochet. I am going to wait until the hobby lobby sale before I purchase the yarn for the afghan squares. I've been watching youtube and want to attempt a few other squares I've seen there. I'm already planning a "square basket" for the many afghans I"ll make.

@kobesbuddy It's so relaxing for me, and it makes me feel closer to my mom. Plus i love all the pretty colors and the fact that I can make my own comfort items.

Thank You. I think my day will be better now that I was able to do that. I don't think I slept more than a few minutes, but just laying there and not doing anything did wonders. Hope you have a good rest of your day as well.

@gr8nana6 True. I've been so exhausted that I thought I'd sleep for two hours only to sleep for ten minutes.

I just bought more. I woke up, checked hobby lobby to find that they had a sale so I cashed out on one of my sites and bought some. I need to buy some from another store soon because hobby lobby didn't have the yarn I wanted.
