What is Wrong With This Generation?

Today, we are living in a world where people always have a way to make things complicated. Even if you go to someone, and behave so good, gently, he or she will definitely be going to thought - Why is he acting like that? Sure he is up to something.
No, I am not up to something. So this is what happened. I had a gift shop business, so I have near about 600 to 700 people in phone contacts and all of them are available in WhatsApp messenger. Now, most of those contacts are little girls, 16 or 17 years old.
There is a feature on Whatsapp Messanger called Whatsapp Status - where you can share a picture or video or something so that everyone can see. Now, they are always sharing many things, their birthday wishes and all, questions about them( a game, how much you know her).
So, I did wish them Happy Birthday sometimes, I mean come on, if you see someone is sharing her birthday publicly, what's wrong to wish her?
So, a few days ago I wished one of the girls, but I think she definitely thought something about it. She was sharing all her birthday wishes she is getting from her friends and family in the status, but when I did, she sent me a thumbs up and then bang, I saw all her status disappeared. Maybe she blocked me. I do share some status, she watches it. But I have no idea what made her to do that.
In another incident, I answered one of the girls questions about her, what she likes most, I answered it and got 9 out of 10 right. So she was curious to know, who is the guy who knows her so well? She posted in status. I told her it's me, I just randomly clicked and got the result.
Pretty sure, she found it weird. She knows me but still, she thought maybe I am up to something. She didn't reply after I exposed myself. And I knew immediately what is she thinking, so on the next day, I posted a picture of me and my GF and wrote 14 years together. Guess what? She replied immediately.
I don't know what they think, maybe they are right. Of course, it is her choice, what to do whatnot. But the thing is, I have no bad intentions. I am like an uncle to them. Also, the world is pretty bad too, so I don't what is right or wrong. I think it's better to stay away next time I see something like that on my WhatsApp status feed.

Those kids get are excited and afraid at the same time. They want attention but they do not want everyone to know about it. They want to build relationships but keep everything secret. They want to have fun but not let anyone know about it.

yes I do know, they are just kids, Thats why sharing things like this publicly is not a good idea if you want to be secretive or protective. I mean if you are a total stranger to me and people beside you wishing you happy birthday, If I am a passer by and I see you and hear it, I am going to wish you too. I don't know what is wrong in that.

@piyushbhatia1 Yes, just like I said, it is better to stay away. I thought its a polite thing to do you know, as whole my life I learned to respect, to be gentle, but yeah, sometimes it just doesn't work.

@sparial02 I used to assume that whatsapp chat is private. Then I figured out that whatsapp sells my data.
Since whatsapp is not private then secrets are hard to keep.
Moreover people are happy with few closed friends. Anyone outside that circle may not have anything common with them. Hence they prefer not to mingle.
Do not worry. Why be 
bothered by little kids.

Now a days everyone believes in lies, but not the truth. When you lie everyone will believe you. But when you're true, no one will believe. That's the present phenomena of most of the people. You can't blame them. They're children to you and also they're immatured. They just want attention but from the desired persons only. It happened to me sometimes also. I just maintain a safe distance from them.

Sometimes people behaviour really baffles me. What do they want exactly? If you have problems with me, you should have deleted me long ago.

@sparial02 Most of the people do not tell you anything in your face. But they will do gossip behind your back. You can't change them or their motives or behavior towards you. You can stay away from those. They were in touch with you because you owned a shop. Now you don't have that shop. Maybe that's why they're ignoring you

maybe because of the news they see on tv and read on newspapers. I can't blame them though I know you are not a bad guy. i think they are not just comfortable with men. The best way is to post your picture with your gf so that they can be a bit comfy.

Yes I don't blame them but also I blame them. They should not posts things like that publicly if they want to be secretive about themselves. Now, even if I am the most dangerous person or psycho person in world, we both are complete stranger to each other, say you are wearing a t-shirt that says - " Its my Birthday Today" and I wish you Happy Birthday when you are in front of me, is it wrong? They are just kids, if they are like that, future is not going to be so kind to them I am afraid.

In our world, lot of people having like those behavior. So be careful your self on Sharing images and messages.
