Helping a neighbor moving to another city / myLot

Phew. Just finished helping the folks that live near my house to load their furniture on a truck. They planned to move to a better city tomorrow, and I'm just helping with the heavy lifting. Hope they have a nice life in the new city.

is this a recent decision due to covid, or they've planned it even before the pandemic? i hope the city they're moving to is safe.

They have planned this long before the pandemic. They have begun saving since 2018 I think. The city they're going to is bigger and more crowded and the living expenses there are more than in this city so they gotta prepare first.

That's so kind if you...you did your good deed. Terrific! I know people like you are jewels to be treasured for I've moved before, and when people help you, ...beds heavy, chairs heavy and there you are a jewel to those you helped move.

@JohnKu Moving is sometimes necessary. My family told me in my last move size down. But we get older too. You did good and you do reciprocity too, how kind! All my helpers in late 50, in their 60's now. So next I move, I got to win a sweeps, $250K a yr for life and hire movers.

The huge cupboard was the most difficult to move ahahaha... But it's nothing. People helped me before so it's my time to help them.

i think your place is not too strict. Moving to other City here now is difficult there is a lot of requirements.

@JohnKu our Country is suffering too but if they will not implement total lockdown the virus will continue to spread because cases here cannot control.

Yup, my country never really impose total lockdown. In here we simply called it mass scale social distancing. Our economy won't survive with full lockdown.
