A Rainy Tale

It's raining again. I like to see rain through the window and read story books. I love to hear the sound of thunder, raindrops while sleeping. I love to stand in rain and feel every droplet that touches my skin. But I love the most is the after rain effect. Green becomes more vibrant, flowers look too beautiful. Every color is heightened. Droplets on leaves and flowers look like pearls by the reflection of sunlight. Pearls are everywhere on leaves and flowers. After the rain I always do reflection photography, droplet photography.
During rainy days the combination of coffee / tea and pakoda (crispy fries) are awesome. Sometimes we make Khichdi (hojpoj) with crispy fish fry for lunch or dinner. We, Indians cherish our rainy days just like that. How about you guys? How do you like to spend your day during rainy days?

I do enjoy rain. Most of the time i used to get wet. No matter whether its day or night, i always used to get wet. But from past couple of years my health is not good so i stopped. Now midnight rain is one of favorite time to being creative. I write stories, songs, or think many things at that time. It feels awesome. By the way, midnight rain is one of my poem name.

@RoshniMahasweta yes it was raining a little ago and i thought i am gonna have another great night but sadly the rain stopped. I mean seriously? I still went outside but aghh, its depressing.

Then share the poem so that we all can read it. I used to stand in rain for hours. But now I don't have time. And Midnight thunder storm is kinda my thing.

@sparial02 haha.. Yes, it's very disappointing. But we've disappointed nature everytime. Now it's nature's turn to revenge like that.

@piyushbhatia1 then? How can you drink? I drank rain water or hails in my childhood. The weather was less pollutant that time.
