Brushing my teeth with very cold water

It is midnight here. I could not sleep so I stayed online for a bit. Then, realizing I had not brushed my teeth, I headed to the sink. To my horror, we have water interruption again! And so, I pulled a bottle of very cold water out of the fridge and brushed my teeth with it. Brrrrr! Has it happened to you?

I guess brushing your teeth with cold water is better than having to bathe in cold water!

@Janet357 Trust me, I've had to bathe in freezing cold water before, it's the worst!

Cold water isn't always pleasant to deal with. Hopefully it didn't hurt your teeth.

My teeth are sensitive, so I need to mix in warm water when brushing.

@Janet357 No, I only use Crest toothpaste. It's just the cold water that affects them.

true. I don't know the service provider here why we have this unannounced water interruption sometimes.

We don't have water interruptions here. However, our water heater has been wonky lately. Cold water isn't coming out like it should, and the hot isn't as hot as I'd like. Sorry you had to brush your teeth with chilled water!

thanks Amber. We never have had water heater. In Americs, does every household have a filter for their drinking water?

We don't have water interruption here. Electricity sometimes, but never water. That would be a pain.

our service provider will just cut its service unannounced and that means no water for 17 cities sometimes.
