During the 90's there is an Urban Legend about a Reptilian snake man who lives inside the Robinson's Galleria mall. He lives in the mall so he can eat women. The horror story is that he is the Twin Brother of Robina, who is the daughter owner of the mall. Currently she is the CEO.
The dressing rooms of the mall is rumored to have secret trap doors, so during feeding time, They can feed women to the Snake man.
Alice who is was a very popular actress during those times fell inside one of those alleged trap doors and because of her gymnastic background she was able to escape the Snake man and when the employees of the mall recognized her, The owner of the mall bribed her for her silence.
This Urban Legend harmed the earnings of Robinson's Galleria but they did recover. Alice never answered any interview about this. Many people speculate this was smear campaign from the rival mall SM Supermalls and if it's true it works because SM is now the number one mall in the Philippines.
29 years later, Robinson's wanted to erase the image that a reptilian monster lives inside their Malls, so they hired Alice Dixson as an endorser. This commercial mocks the Urban legend that damaged their sales.
Yesterday Alice Dixson got so sick of people still asking her about the Snake monster so she decided that she will finally make a statement about the truth. She will upload a video telling her side of the story when this Urban Legend became viral before social media is a thing. Many Filipinos believed this Urban Legend because Alice was having a sabbatical from Acting when the story got viral via word of mouth. She was missing during those times because she was trying to have a baby with her then newly wed husband. SM Malls took advantage of it to smear the reputation of Robinsons.
As timeless as the urban legend, but always up for some great changes. Shop, dine, and have the best time! The new Robinsons Galleria invites you to make new...

Have any women been reported missing from that mall? It's funny because who would actually believe that such a reptilian man exists, let alone lives in a mall . . . but something obviously something happened that they paid her off (is that part true?).

. Oh my gosh - something must've happened though (not THAT, but something) or do you think it was a marketing stunt of some kind? So crazy what people will believe!

@much2say That snake twin really damaged their sales for decades so Robina see this as a way to make people realize its not real. Another reason she got accused on being a snake because she always wear long sleeves, so people think she hides scales. Now she was showing her shoulders to prove she is not a snake......
But what if the scales are on her legs.

I remember parents use to use this story to scare children, Did you know 12 million Americans believes Reptilians exist? Also 60 percent of Icelandic people believes that elves exists.
I know many Filipinos still believes on Aswangs.

I do not blame Alice for sharing her side of the story.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I did not know that for a fact. I know of many celebrities who have to tell their fans that reports of their deaths are false.

So you believe there is a snake man in the mall? The legend says there is a tunnel that connects all branches of the mall

@CaptAlbertWhisker Well, I can only assume but since it is a very old story and she denied it already even there's a truth in this I think she will not tell it until the rest of her life...

It is great that she did the video because it can be scary to think about such a reptilian man. Hopefully, people won't be asking again,

I think she got so sick of being asked about the so called snake man in the last 20 years. She thought endorsing the mall will make people shut up about it.
