there is a decline of students in our little town

I've just heard that the number of students who enrolled in a high school nearby reduced from 5000 to 3000. It may be because they are afraid to get COVID, or their parents cannot afford the tuition, still because of COVID. How is school in your place?

I still dont think school will be good for this. Online school or home school is best.

I think so too, although there are still disadvantages to both of those alternatives. Like if it's online some kids don't even have access to the internet, or if it's home school, some parents may be busy or don't know about the lessons.

I think there are some parents who are worried about sending their kids to school. For the moment, things with COVID isn't bad here, but there are still some concerns.

That's good to hear. The covid situation in our country is not getting better at all, unfortunately.

It's the same in my area. As a parent, I don't think I will risk my kid's safety just to go to school.

yeah, it's still scary to go out these days - so long as no cure/vaccine is found

as long as the covid situation is handled well, then i guess that's okay. You don't have a lot of new cases right?

Covid has affected many things adversely. Many schools in our state have reported decline in earning and teachers are being paid less than their regular pay.

that is quite awful to hear. Our teachers here are paid so little even before covid.. i wonder how they are doing now.

We have summer holidays now and are due to go back on campus for a new school year mid-August. Very few people have dropped out because they are all stuck here.
