Grammar , the word own is tautology ?

When I submitted an article to my client, I got the following feedback from him The word "own" is a tautology and hence told me to remove it. My question is that why should I remove that word. Is it wrong to use The sentence is The product has its own features and advantages. Each has their own dreams

The own word should not be used because it an error and some examples are given red in color, grey in color...
