I grew up in a silent place, small family. It's difficult to adjust in new environment sometimes. At home where i am now, they used to watch television like in cinema haha, closing doors so loud, also servant works so noisy. No kids here but still noisy. I am getting annoyed! I just want to live in silent place. I hate noise. How's the place you're living in,is it noisy or silent.

I live in the city.. it is very noisy. I hate it. I too, would prefer to live in a place that was silent. I love the peace and quiet!

When it's only my daughter, son in law and me here, then it is pretty quiet. But when granddaughter comes over she is really loud, which I don't like.

@rhuenz Ahh so that's where all the frustration comes from. Now I can understand that it must be a major change for you from what you were used to since you were little. I'm sure your husband understands this as well.

we're just 3 people in the house and no kids too, so there's rarely any noise. I can just imagine living in your house and i wouldn't want to be there either. can't you talk to the people there?

I live in a noisy place and I have a younger brother, you must know how a small child who is actively playing. so I took the initiative to make my room soundproof. and I feel comfortable being here for hours.
