Now living in the USA for 3 going on 4 years , for someone going from a country of 5 Million people to a country of 320 million people its hard to get my head round some of the strange things that happen here. Things here in the USA are alot more complicated and alot more buraurcratic than the country i come from. The USA marks itself as one of the front runners when it comes to advancing in technology but in so many areas of society it is any thing but advanced. Local government agencies often work with out of date computer systems and technology long gone from other countries from around the world. They talk about health and safety but expect their workers to work under conditions that would be anything but safe. They dont have a public health system and they would rather sue thier neighbor than talk over the fence to work through their problem. It is extremely confusing with law and order as you go from one state to another and the law can be one thing in one and then the law may not exsist in a neighboring statt One state has capital punishment and the neighbouring state outlawed it You pay twice in the store once at the checkout and then to Uncle Sam and again the amount to Uncle Sam vieries from state to state . And dont get me started on the postal system , when posting a letter within the same city it has to leave that city to get back to the person who is to recieve it and in the end it is often easier to hand deliver it. Thats why the postal service in America is going down the toilet because they send the item somewhere else nowhere near the postal location before it gets to its destination. I could go on here but living here in the USA makes me appreciate the advancments i have seen at home from my own country. America is a Beautiful country but dont think for a moment it is the best country in the world because its not.
