Today is Sunday and I prepared 3 dishes for lunch. One of them is tilapia in coconut milk. Lately I've been cooking different types of fish in coconut milk bec my husband loves any dish with coconut milk.
What I like about this dish is the fact that I'm able to put in herbs that boost the immune system like ginger and garlic. I also added chili peppers, peppercorns, onions, and pechay greens.
Do you like dishes that have coconut milk?

Yes, I've seen that in cooking shows. What's your favorite Indonesian dish that uses coconut milk?

Many vegan recipes, curry recipes in particular, use coconut milk to thicken the sauce. Something like chickpea curry. I hope you get to try it.

It's an acquired taste, I guess. It's popular among Southeast Asians and vegetarians.

I loooove Bicolano cuisine. I keep watching cooking shows that feature Bicol food. My dream is to make my own pinangat someday. Your desserts are interesting too!

Indeed! I also like chicken and pork simmered in coconut milk. We usually add curry or shrimp paste to it.
