What is the main difference between successful and unsuccessful persons?

One of the main differences between successful and unsuccessful persons is that successful persons work hard and are patient. Anyone faces obstacles in his path: unsuccessful persons tend to surrender easily while successful persons never never never give up.

for me it is simple to differentiate them, a successful person is the one who never gives up and the unsuccessful one is the one who gives up easily

This is too simplistic in my opinion. Hard work does not always lead to success. Lucky people can be successful without hard work.
