Just A thought About online School

Nairobi, Kenya

The schools are closed for a long time because of the pandemic, So there is an alternative that came for this as online schooling. I am just wondering how much is that effective. The favorite part of my school was the school playground and friends in the school days. How does that will be fulfilled by online classes? It is good for a temporary arrangement. But If we are saying it is the future I don't understand how will it work.

online learning is not easy, but it is quite effective as an alternative solution in this pandemic. For junior and senior high school students still can follow quite well. but for kindergarten or elementary school it is very difficult to adjust because their age is the age of free play and interaction with friends and the school environment

I feel it applied for junior and senior high school student too. interaction and play is an integral part of school education.

Paying and interaction really does help at young age. Well, even in older ones we still need being with people of our age to develop more of social aspects. Oh I miss being with friends, hanging out, laughing and making fun with each other.

@ExplorewtMe Sure there are fun things you can't do just online. Students or bullies will miss this. Let this be time for them to learn to be good.

Many teachers or even students as well as parents are having difficulties with this regard. It is harder becauae there are lots to study, specially when teachers don't have much knowledge when it comes to technology. How can they teach students and their parents when they themselves don't understand how technology works. Plus the fact that students need equipments to keep up with the learnings. Not all can provide internet or gadgets.

@ExplorewtMe But we can't be sure though when will things turn back to the normal we knew before this pandemic. We just have to deal with the new normal now. Wearing face mask and face shield, having few public transportations and stuff.

There are kids who got homeschooled even before this happens. Although it will require more participation from the parents' part.

@ExplorewtMe It's the same thing what they are trying to implement now because of the pandemic. Teachers are doing Zoom classes.
