I don't know whether there is a specific answer. But our people use sandlewood to apply on the skin and komarika for the hair. Then there is something called vadakaha. In the 1950s there was a Solar Eclipse in Sri Lanka. Astrologers said that drinking vadakaha during the eclipse will make a female beautiful. After the eclipse the hospitals were overflowing with patients sick from an overdose of vadakaha.
