Ethereal Lands

Waters trickles, birds chirp,
Blue skies turn grey.
Children tiptoe through the hall.
A musical interlude prances
Upon my heart.
Is it a calling to wander,
Or perhaps a melancholy dream.
My center of gravity wobbles.
Traveling through dimensions
In realms dreams cascade,
I dress my heart up with blue garments.
Robed words transcend crying rains,
Carrying me into ethereal lands.
