Usually I enjoy Kendall Ryan's books. They're quick reads for me and have a good dose of humor mixed in with the romance.
This one was only okay to me.
How to Date a Younger Man is her most recent release.
A woman in her thirties befriends and eventually falls for a younger man. The age difference is only ten years but there are extenuating circumstances.
The first issue she has to get over is the guy is her best friend's little brother.
Issue two is the age difference.
At first it's the age and how she sees him as only a party boy willing to screw anything with legs while she wants to settle down and have a family.
Then they become best friends or extremely close to the point that her mind starts to wander what it would be like if he wasn't younger and her friend's brother.
Finally we get to the stage of we can have fun but nothing serious even though the guy is all for having a serious relationship with her.
The book goes in stages and she has to work through each one of them. It's interesting to see how her mind works through each stage and how HE is in a completely different place than what she thinks it is.
For him, it's always been the heroine. Not that the growing up didn't do him some good before everything happened.
It was a cute story with a decent plot. For some reason though it just fell flat for me.
I might try to read it again next year. Kendall Ryan has a new book coming out again soon I think. The Penthouse Prince. I'm excited to get that one, I've already read the blurb lol.
