Friday Cricket Talk: India vs Kiwis 4th ODI 1998-99 series

So back to another cricket talk. I now have made an intentional habit of watching cricket match highlights on Friday. My Friday was extra busy with almost 14 hours of official work! Yet I still found time to watch this match. It was the 4th ODI of the 1998-99 India-KiwI ODI series. This match was played in Auckland. Kiwis batted first and were under tight control by India, and were 50 odd for 4 at one stage. However, the talented allrounder Chris Cairns who made 44, Chris Harris with 40 plus and some good contribution by Daniel Vettori helped Kiwis score 207. For India, Dravid and Ganguly batted superbly to make 50s, and later on Azharuddin and Ajay Jadeja scored good 30 plus scores. It was a delight to watch Jadeja hitting some clean boundaries and sixes, and later on a few big hits by the valiant allrounder Robin Singh. India won by 5 wickets with still 6 odd overs to spare.
