Love or career?

If you were to choose, would you go for love or for career? I have met a few people who chose career over love and they ended up being single for the most part. They are very successful in career but when it came to love they weren’t happy. I thought about it and I would choose love over and over again. For me, love includes a lot of aspects. We have someone to love then you start a family then you have kids. Did you ever had to choose for love or career? What did you choose? Are you happy with your decision?

We shouldn't have to choose? The only time I remember where there was a conflict was choosing to provide more hours or not. It wasn't a totally important decision.

Career and love both are important in life, they are two faces of coin. You can't exclude any one of them but to maintain the balance of both is an art of life. Those who did it makes our life happier.

The lover must not derail a person from their career.

True. If the person loves you he/she should be supportive. But what if the person isn’t as supportive and would like you to choose.

Well I cannot say. I did already what I loved to do and I met my husband at age 32 and married him at 34

I think there is always something to regret on but you are correct, you should stick to what you have right now and just be happy and contented with it.
