Honeysuckle Still Blooming in August
August 1, 2020 12:17pm CST
After a quick rain shower earlier I went out to check the blooms in the garden. The Japanese honeysuckle is still blooming. This flower started out as a small vine on the fence and has now grown into a bush. I love the colorful blooms and the hummingbirds enjoy the nectar as well. The smell takes me back to my childhood. Nature offers so much.

I'm not familiar with honeysuckle and wouldn't recognize it. When does it normally quit growing or blooming there? I'm guessing the change in climate will produce changes for all our blooms. Maybe from now on if the summers continue as they were this year.
