Just curious! How much EMERGENCY savings do you have? If you lose your job, did you blow through it during the past few months? What is everyone doing who’s laid off?

I have 3 to 6 months of emergency savings. I got that from a regular saving account that I had for 12 months. I advise everyone to have an emergency account.

I'm still trying to build up my savings account. But I don't really plan to stop finding ways to earn.

Ideally, you have to have at least six months worth of living expenses saved up as an emergency fund. Of course, with the uncertain times, I doubt if six months is enough. I still have my job and I'm still looking for other things to do to earn. The more income streams, the better.

Currently I have enough for another 5-6 months. Though I'm also constantly looking for new ways to earn more.
