I'm here at work and was wondering where the weekend went? I seems like it was just Friday and I was looking forward to having a couple days to unwind, but --- We were under a hurricane watch Saturday so I thought the wife and I would go out and pick up a couple things just in case the hurricane actually impacted us. $800 later we made it home only to find the AC wasn't cooling. Did some research on the internet for a fair, reputable company. The tech showed up and found the problem to be a clogged drain line that caused the coil to freeze up. An hour or so later and a couple hundred spend, the house is now cooling off. At least if we're stuck inside for the hurricane we won't be sweating... unless the power goes out. Sunday rolls in with the outer bands providing some wind and rain. I make my morning coffee, go out clean some leaves out of the pool, and check the latest weather report. Things should be clearing - really? My wife decides it's a good time to hang some pictures in our new home - great, just what I wanted to do. You have to understand, I can't measure stuff for CRAP so every time I think I have something centered I'm off and have to redo it. But it's something I have to do to keep the wife happy so out comes the ladder, hammer, screwdrivers, tape measure, straight edge, etc.... 5 hours later I have the pictures up that she wants to start with and I'm allowed to put my things away. It's early evening and we get to see a little sun. Time to make a drink and try to relax by the pool before getting my things ready for work in the morning.
