Where's everybody?

After spending 5 days in busy Venice ,the life here in the UK seems so apocalyptic. Yes! Apocalyptic! I took my dog for a walk ,which takes me between 45 and 60 min and met only a couple walking their dog and a mum with a toddler.The streets were dead.

I guess it's because of the pandemic. Many people are still afraid of going out.

If you think that you saw 'busy' Venice now during lockdown, come again in a lockdown-free summer. Then you'll see what 'busy' means when it comes to Venice!

I know what you mean.The amount of tourists was only a fraction of the usual amount during normal times.And yet Venice had plenty.
