It was seven years ago when I had experienced a bit close up encounter with the rainbow in Kalinga, Philippines. A throwback photo of me enjoying the hiking and the rainbow as my background on the mountainside. A once in a lifetime job with the villagers before. Have you seen a rainbow closer to you? The bible says that it's a sign that God would never again destroy the earth with flood.

You're right. It's a sign of the covenant of God to Abraham that flood will not destroy the earth with flood again.

@louievill I hope the phrase will be rephased: 'It is a sign that God would destroy the coronavirus with vaccines.' @rhuenz

That is nice to see you in person and the rainbow in the background too. I have seen that in Baguio too when we were resting in SM mall and saw a rainbow on nearby mountain range.

I guess I need to trim down now. I had gained weight. This photo reminded me to do some exercises. There are times that you can also see a rainbow in my city.

In the afternoon, it is quite cool since we always have monsoon rain. After it, you will see the fog. The coldest weather is in February.

@rhuenz I think it is safer in Tabuk City than here. They always have tribal wars at that time being here.

I have seen many rainbows, even double rainbows. I have noticed that every picture I have taken does not do real justice to the real one that I have seen. The rainbow is a gift from God!

This photo was taken around 5:00 PM. It will take about more than 7 hours, depending on the availability of public transportation.
