BTS Themed Cake

KPOP has quite dominated the eastern and western countries. Since the boy group BIGBANG started, kpop has continously contribute good quality of music.. A lot of artists and idols has now been known worldwide some of these artists and idols are CL, DARA, GD, Seventeen, Akmu, iKON, Winner, Blackpink, 2en1,Mamamoo, Got7, Momoland, bts and many more.. And as this domination is continually striving, Fans are more eager to celebrate their special occasion with something in connection with their idols. Cupsleeve events everytime they are celebrating something that their idols have accomplished and others.. Birthday cakes are being themed as what their Idols represent.. The picture above is an example of the BTS themed cake I make last July 20, for a fan of BTS which celebrated her birthday.. I personally was being challenged by this cake cause I personally don't know much about bts.. So I did a little research and came up with this cake.. I studied how to make the Logo and lightstick without using fondant and I only use american buttercream with a lot more powdered sugar for it to be shaped.. Also colored it purple because it was the bts' color and added some pink which represents their album.. And to my surprise, my client told me that her daughter was so happy with the cake.. This is the first time I have made a KPOP themed cake.. I myself is also quite surprised with the outcome..
