My husband had his second interview. He was nervous about it because he likes doing it in person not over zoom. So the three people interviewing him said they would call him back after a few other interviews. Less then 2 hours later he gets a call.
He came back down stairs once off of the phone and asked the kids to guess what? I asked him did you get the job? Yep!!
So now he has to wait for his current boss to talk to his new boss. The good thing is this is being done internal so he pretty much transferring. He will be at a family practice which will be good for him. This mean he works day time office hours and maybe a weekend here and there. This means no more asking off for holidays and and trading which ones he gets off. Home in the evening for the first time in 2 years.
Now it’s just a waiting to see when his last day at the hospital will be and when his first day at family practice will be.

Well it means more responsibility and making sure he has awesome bedside manners to all of the people he will be interacting with.

@pandeydeependra he passed the test but now he has to actually do it. Thankfully most of it is already what he does. But the rest of it will be a first for him.

As am I. He got two different start dates yesterday so I’m guessing he’ll find out after we get back from vacation which one of those two dates will work best. It doesn’t take to long to get the paper work done but they are in the middle of there 6 week schedule.

Yes, excited. Meaning someone can’t crawl into bed next to me every night. Just waiting to see what his start date is. He got two dates in which it could be.

It means more hours which then means more money. But in general it doesn’t change much in my role.

He gets 20 cent more but has 8 hour days for 5-6 days a week. He’ll be making I want to say another 5k a year so he’ll be making just under $36K a year he was already making close to $31K a year.
