I am embarrassingly behind on this challenge, however, I am committed to finish what I start nonetheless. I can see from my posts that Day 5 is where I left off, so that means I am on Day 6, which is a song that reminds you of somewhere. I'll have to apologize to those here who don't like jazz, but this one is special to me, not only because it embodies my family's hometown of New Orleans but also because it was recorded in my family's music store in 1942. I believe the store was being managed by my great-grandfather at the time. I have an album of pictures from the Times Picayune when he was overseeing the family business. I always admired his classy but professional candor. This is "Down By The River" by Bunk Johnson's Original Superior Band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ds0H18JOB50 Are there any songs in particular that remind you of someWHERE?

Regarding to your post, I have to say don't be embarrassed at all! Most people like music so this challenge sounds totally terrific! I haven't heard any jazz music ever, I'd sure try out why not? By the day I am sticking to your challenge, a song that reminds me of somewhere I am gonna go with "Ray of Light" by Madonna which takes me to my university back in 2012 when I was 20.
