My feeling is that the due to the national attention that a 10 year old boy named Micah Harrigan was getting most likely by social media and witnesses who were taking his picture with their phone cameras in Philadelphia Pennsylvania while he was selling lemonade using Splenda products to his customers gained him a reward from the officials at Splenda who sell artificial sweeteners on Thursday.
Micah who runs a lemonade stand named Micah's Mixx received a visit from officials from the artificial company on Thursday by rewarding with a $1,000 dollar scholarship, one year supply of Splenda sweeteners and a bicycle so Micah can use lemonade stand to move around Philadelphia to sell his lemonade to customers who need a refreshment.
A good public relations move by Splenda officials to reward a young child who is making good use of his time during this pandemic period.

Pardon me for this comment but I find it in bad taste to have a media release of that kind of reward from a company. Clearly it is not the boy but the company that gained.

Good that the boy named Micah got support for the use of a sweetener company Splenda for promoting their product by serving lemonade. The scholarship will help him with his education.
