I Got A Lot Done Today

Hurricane Isaias didn't cause a lot of damage here. It did in other NC counties. I am so relieved we came through it okay. I have almost finished my brick project. I would like to finish up tomorrow. I have a patio now. It isn't perfect at all ... it doesn't have to be though. It is imperfect like me. I painted our mailbox Hunter Green ... stained the post brown this morning. I put new numbers on it too. Today ... I also, replanted plants to new, bigger pots. I painted some old flower pots too. I put 100 lbs. cement on the bricks .... I swept it into cracks ... then took the garden hose to wet the bricks good to set them. I will need about 4 more bags of cement. I painted my wooden man Hunter green. He was painted white. Now, he is mounted up on the fence ... I made one leg bend as if he is taking a step (he is jointed). Now ... he has personality. I mowed some grass, also. Guess what? It rained afterwards when a storm came up. It wasn't a bad storm ... just noisy, raining. I can't believe all I got done today. Oh, I forgot ... I put up Dragonfly solar lights ... plus regular solar lights. Tonight I am a good tired. Tired and happy from all I accomplished.
