I have made this dessert a few times and love it! Although not the prettiest cake ever made, the cake serves its purpose. pie filling, cake mix and butter... that is all you need... oh, and a Crock-Pot If you hate cleaning a messy Crock-Pot, you might want to use a liner. However, it is worth it! But, there are no rules! You can use ANY pie filling or cake mix! Mix and match! Yes, cake is nice to have with ice cream or Cool-Whip, but not necessary. Do you crave a cake? Are you having guests? Do you have a large family? Do you hate baking? Are you terrible at baking? This method is perfect for you!
