Do anyone knows this kind of flowers? This flowers reminded me of my beloved mother. When she is still alive, she used to plant different kinds of crown of thorns. She has a garden in our backyard and front yard.Plants made by her hand are easy to grow. But when she pass away ,everything vanished. My dad cannot take care of it. Do you know this kind of flower? What flower do you like most.

I'm sorry to learn about the loss of your mom and I can understand that the nostalgia these flowers bring with them could be quite painfu to you. From what you described, I could only think of globe amaranth flowers. Are you talking about those?

@rhuenz Yes, I could infer from your post that it would be a couple of years since then. I'm sure it must be hard no matter how long back it happened. Going by the name of the flower, I imagined a different picture in my mind about it. Now after seeing the photo that you have uploaded I'm wondering why it got that name! I've seen many varieties of these kind of flowers at the botanical gardens. I don't remember the name though.
