My elder daughter always dressed up like Krishna when she was small. She never was so fond of Indian traditional dresses for girls. It's opposite for younger one. She loves to dress up in Indian traditional attire.

My grandson, when he was five. desperately wanted a Princess Elsa dress for Christmas. We got him one and he very proudly wore it not just round the house but also to several chlidren's parties to which he was invited. There were a few raised eyebrows but, at that age, it doesn't mean anything except that he loves the Disney film, "Frozen"!
