Maybe I'll just read in bed all day...

Hi Stress! How the heck are ya? I can't say as I've missed you. You really aren't needed here, and I definitely don't want you inviting your buddy anxiety along for the ride. I thought I had gotten rid of you a few weeks ago, but it seems as if you are back and you've brought a bag with you this time. I'm sorry, but I just don't have a lot of space for you at the moment. Maybe you could go visit your other friends, instead? Or perhaps it's time for you to take a long sabbatical away from the world? A nice mountain retreat. Like I said, I don't really need you here, and I don't think any of your other friends want you either. No hard feelings, right? We all need a break from one another on occasion, don't we? Sincerely, Amber - Isn't Going to Let This Stress Get To Her - Lynn

Don't like it when stress and anxiety come for a visit. Hopefully it goes away soon.

Nor do I. Thank You. I'm listening to sounds of the ocean from pandora and that is helping me a bit. I'll get over it, I just have to distract myself and let my mind work through it.

As long as you don't let it get the upper hand, you'll be alright. Have a splendiferous Sunday.

Thank You. I spent a few minutes chatting with my friends which helped tremendously. I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

@gr8nana6 I enjoy quiet days too. I've always enjoyed it. Family can go to sleep with the television on, and I think it even helps them. For me? I can not sleep with any kind of vocal noise because my mind starts to wake up and be curious as to what is going on.

I've been stressing out too. I would love to read in bed all day too. But I need to mop the kitchen floor today.

I read for most of the day yesterday, but I spent some time on the chores. Mopping is one of my least favorite things.

@JESSY3236 I think I might have woken up because of it, but went back to sleep. I think it was a little more intense out your way.

@LindaOHio Thank You, and you as well. I am feeling a lot better today, and am ready to tackle the shelves and start getting books ready to sell back to the thrift store. I am hoping I'll get some cash with them, but I'm assuming that it will all be paid in voucher.

@Butterfingers I wasn't online a lot yesterday, but I might be online a little more today. I am thinking I might try to be online towards the nighttime here again, as I think it can be pretty busy here at the time.

Stress and anxiety and their cousins boredom and depression can take a long walk off a short pier!

Agreed. Though boredom rarely bothers me, he's very demanding when he is around.

Thank You, I am trying. I'm going to work on distracting myself a little bit and trying to get some housework done as well, that should help.

You have an anxiety problems?

I was diagnosed with an anxiety issue at one time. That particular type of anxiety has gone away, but I still deal with stress and anxiety from time to time. I've had anxiety attacks in the past as well.

@sophie09 No, but I don't have them as often as I once did. I was prescribed nerve pills at one time, though.

@ScribbledAdNauseum do you take pills to ease them?

Sometimes you have to accept that it's there, just accept. Accepting doesn't mean welcoming.

@embejerano I have done that in the past. I used to have bad anxiety attacks, but I learned to push through them as best I could. It wasn't easy.
9 Aug 20
@ScribbledAdNauseum I always did that, whenever I started to feel it I would say "okay here we go again, come here and go"

Agreed. My biggest struggle is finding time to relax. I can't seem to do it unless I am away from the house completely.
