Nairobi, Kenya

I have heard a new word Just couple of days back and That is Table-Top Runways. Do You know what is it? There are a few airports situated in Hillstation and to make a runway an elevation is prepared to make a plane surface so that a runway can be prepared for plane to take up and landing. So in that process It leaves cliff on either side of the runway. Do you know any such runway?

I haven't heard of it ever! However I don't know if that is safe or not!

There is always some risk involved in this type of runways.

@jvicentevalera It is not a trend but they make it in hill station as it is the only option there.

You are welcome. It needs special skills to operate on these runways.
