Bulb didn't work

They defrost the Fridge today and it was a good time to have the shorted bulb replaced.
I bought a replacement but it was slgiht smaller than the original. The maid advised that it's hard to trace it's brand.
Sadly, when they switch it back, the new bulb didn't work. something else must be going on.

Hello @rsa101 they told me that's their only stock. Perhaps I should have look to another hardware.

@Letranknight2015 Yeah I guess you have to look for another hardware store nearby to look for that item or maybe contact the brand of the ref and inquire about it maybe yhey can recommend what type of bulb to buy for your ref.

Better to bring the busted bulb when you buy a replacement one so you can just show the busted bulb to the sales person and they can find the exact same bulb for you.

@Letranknight2015 perhaps you can return it to the store where you got it and have it replaced. If there is a price difference, you can just pay the difference.

That's frustrating! Maybe you need to get the old one and bring it to the shop where you buy the replacement.

Maybe the whole wiring is busted @piyushbhatia1 The ice reached that bulb anyways.

sometimes, our ref's bulb gets busted that is why my sister has some replacements bought.
