Hydroplaning or Aquaplaning

This is another new term I have learned yesterday. Do you know the phenomenon of this term? There is a situation when there is heavy rain that time a layer of water builds between the tire of the vehicle and the surface of the road. Because of that, it loses traction resulting in the driver/pilot loses control over the vehicle. This can be more worse in case of a runway as the runway get a layer of rubber coting with time after several landing.
