Should countries really require visas to enter

It seems really difficult to get into a country to visit or work or live there. There are always so many different rules concerning entry. Do you think countries should make it so difficult to travel or relocate? Do you think visas are necessary?

yes i agree.
however, it is very important for a country to keep track of the unnecessary influx and to screen ppl coming in, going out and moving out. or else how wud a country justify their population and integrity and census!!
i can understand ur standpoint and its indeed great deal of difficulty and harassment for the travellers wth work permit and multiple visas and wud want sufficient vigilance of the security instead of harassing the innocents.

You raise some good points and I have also thought of these. They are indeed important. I just wish there were some other way of doing things that would make it easier on travelers and/or immigrants. It seems like the world is getting smaller through use of the internet and still it is so far apart as far as actual physical travel. Its a shame.

yes, I think it's very necessary. I don't think one should enter a country without any documantation. There should be a way to track that person who's entering.

I know what you mean.. travelling and having to get visas everywhere you go can be a real pain, however i do understand the need for visas and work permits. Ease of entry into various countries seems to go off population and the need for a workforce. Things you don't really care about if you just want to climb a mountain or experience the culture!
