We refused to be guinea pigs

That's the statement of some people who heard about getting clinical trial vaccines coming from Russia. Some one here already claimed about getting one from Japan but it was quickly disputed that there wasn't assurance. It's crazy that the President volunteered for this tiral, maybe he should have forced his officials to take it as well and see what happens. Can people just TRY and AVOID getting covid instead until the scientist have perfected the vaccine? Some people are just too desperate for cure.
Nais munang malaman ng mga Pinoy kung epektibo ba o hindi ang bakuna kontra COVID-19 na naimbento ng Russia bago sila pumayag na maturukan nito. To watch TV ...

As FDA has said no one will force anyone to take the clinical trials. Only willing volunteers that will accept the risks involved in the test will join them. I think for medicines to really be tested there should be volunteers who will need to sacrifice before it will be given to the public.

This is really very funny I agree that government officials pushing it should be the first ones to be injected

I would never take a vaccine, especially from Japan or Russia. They are experimental inoculations!

Vaccines are really necessary to combat this virus once and for all. But to have one working vaccine we have to have it tried to a few brave volunteers who would risk their lives to see if the vaccine really works on them. Else if no one volunteers then we will never know the efficacy of such vaccines to us humans. I think our government would have to pick those they think that could withstand the test and will make sure they are well taken care of in case it fails to deliver what it is supposed to deliver. We can try avoiding the virus but there is no assurance that you will not get hit by it anytime soon. Our country would dry up if every one is kept quarantined and no one will make the economy moving again. It is a complicated thing when you deal with health and economy at the same time. That is why we desperately need a working vaccine or a medicine to counter the disease ability to spread to anyone.

@Letranknight2015 I think this trials are part and parcel or the process to be approved used for public consumption. It is their mandate to oversee all medicines must pass through clinical trials. That is how most medicines we have in our country has passed through before they were allowed to be sold in the market.

Hello @rsa101 Russia, CHina and Japan should try it free on their citizens before they pass it on to us.

@rsa101 Too many clinical trials already, our FDA should be investigating or banning these clinical trial vaccines from other countries it's dangerous.

I won't volunteer myself for the vaccine testing but I'd like those PHILHEALTH officials being investigated for graft and corruption to be used as guinea pigs. They should be infected with COVID-19, let the virus spread in their bodies, and let the symptoms take hold. Then, when they are fully infected, we can use the vaccine on them and see the results.

Would that be nice to have our corrupt politicians used as guinea pigs @allen0187 that would give some tax payers a sense of satisfaction .
