From COVID to the Anthem

It seems that we've strayed away from COVID in the NFL for now and the focus has switched to how teams will be handling kneeling during the anthem. There was a soccer game that was played in front of fans, who got booed because the team showed solidarity and kneeled during the anthem. Coaches are not really saying a whole lot in the NFL except that they stand by their players, whatever they decide to do. A few coaches, I believe said they will kneel as well. Jerry Jones made headlines last year when he made it policy to stand for the anthem. He full heartily believes in the Anthem and what it stands for. There has been no word this year on how he'll handle this year other than he he wants to handle it "gracefully." Not sure how you're going to handle it gracefully but...you know...go for it. With certain sports canceling their seasons in general due to COVID, NFL swears that they will play on time and a full schedule. So I guess if you can't debate that we move on to the next topic and it just so happens to be that the Anthem is next up. *picture from google
