Today is 15th August, our Independence Day. Today 73 years back we got Independence from British who ruled us for almost 150 years. Today is the day to remember our martyrs who gave their lives for the freedom of our country without which it wouldn't have been possible to enjoy the fruits of independence. Mahatma Gandhi is foremost in that who led this freedom struggle and ultimately gave his life for equality of race and religion in independent India. Do you have any similar experiences?

No we are open today. As it is we are officially closed for only 3 days in a year during Ganesh Chaturthi.

You are doing yourself out of 11 years. Today is the 74th Independence day, since the first one was on 15th August 1947.

I know that November 3 will be the 117th anniversary of the Republic of Panama achieving her independence from Colombia in 1903.

Today is India's 74th Independence day and not 63rd. Yes the freedom struggle is a hard fought one and many brave freedom fighters lost their life to give us the taste of freedom.
