Are raisins actually murdered grapes?

Crazy crazy! If you have clicked here and now finding yourself not wanting to read any further. Then stop. Answer the question above or tell me what you think of raisins or if you prefer blue purple grapes or green grapes. _______________ The following is a true story that happened to me. I was working under noisy conditions. Just as soon as we were hired to communicate with customers we were given a headset that went over our heads. Where else would a headset go? A thin plastic tube came around our faces and acted as our microphone to the world. Of course if we put our finger over the end of that tube the customer would not hear anything going on in our office. But there were times when the chattering office environment was very distracting and it was distracting. It was distracting. So in an attempt to get some quiet!!! I went under my desk and sat cross legged on the carpet. It was actually nice under my desk. For a while. Then someone walked by and asked me what I was doing. I replied, "I'm talking to a customer." Like that is what we always did everyday, all day long. I told my coworker this with my finger firmly placed over the plastic tube. Then someone else came by and asked me if I was.... alright? I smiled and made a funny face like I was crazy. Then another person came by and ... looked at me strangely. I asked myself what was happening in the above desk world. Then another person came by but really didn't look at me. Then another person came by didn't look at me but did look at me sideways. That is when I began to feel a little different. I was different. I was in the underworld. I was in a world of trouble. I was waiting for those that wear clean white coats to come for me and take me to ... a quieter place. So I crawled out, my body cramped and riddled with guilt, assumed my office chair and pretended that I was like everyone else. Normal! Normal with a tube sticking out of my head talking into a noisy room. Have you ever done something different and suddenly felt you had gone to far, that you were going crazy. Let me ask you this one question. How did that make you feel? Are you alright?

The big question is really whether a sultana is a cross between a Saltine and a Banana. I currantly have no raisin to believe that any grapes were harmed in the process. They just stayed out in the sun too long and chose to be called by their French name. I have sat in a ditch quite happily several times wondering whether I went too far. Once or twice it has been a little uncomfortable, either because of the damp or the nettles or because I was the wrong way up but that has rarely deterred me.

@MALUSE We've had thunder and heavy rain showers for the last few days (so much thunder is quite unusual here). It;s possible that the thunder has turned my brain, as it is supposed to turn milk! Either that or the rain has washed away what sense I had left.

I'd hate to work in a noisy environment like that, it would probably make me do something silly too.

I like both kinds of grapes but usually buy green seedless. I've worked in customer service so I know what you're talking about with all the noise. I've never done something in a work situation that was different.

I don't understand why your colleagues behaved in the way they did. If you liked sitting under your desk and didn't trouble anyone by doing it, they could have let you do your job in peace.
