I have a 2 floor house. But now that I´m a widow I live only in the first floor.

Good point. I prefer a bungalow as well for the reason that it's easier to maintain comparitively and also ensures privacy, not isolation.

@Mbenieve Very true. That makes it a good option when you think futuristically too

My first home was a cottage built in 1830 and it was grade two listed. I sold that in 2005 and bought a modern house overlooking fields. I sold that in 2010 and bought a bungalow. It is semi detached and it has three bedrooms. I hope that you live in a bungalow one day.

I had lived in a high fenced bungalow with a large yard with trees since I was eleven and I don't want to live anywhere else except perhaps in a farm with a large pond.

I would never want to live in a bungalow. It's too easy to get in for burglars. A maisonette would be better.
As it is, I live on the top floor of a house which was build in 1895 and belongs to the Art Nouveau period. Behind the house is a garden.

I prefer a flat in an apartment building. It's nice to have people around.
